UK Fit-Out Partner for International Brands

Opening your first restaurant or store in the UK? LCC helps international restaurant and retail brands, many from China, Japan and across Asia, turn their brand standards into UK sites that open on time: from the first site visit and landlord approvals to design and build and opening day.

WHAT WE DO

Opening in a new country means unfamiliar rules: landlord fit-out packs, licence for alterations, planning, building regulations, fire safety, CDM and UK contracts. We act as your local design and build partner.

Our architects adapt your head-office design guide to UK regulations and to the specific unit, we manage approvals with landlords and authorities, and our site team builds to your brand standards. You get one contract, one point of contact in London and regular reporting your head office can rely on. See also our restaurant fit-out and commercial fit-out services.

OPENING IN THE UK: FAQs

Talk to us before you sign the lease if you can. We will review the unit, the landlord’s fit-out pack and your brand guide, and tell you early what the site needs, how long design, approvals and construction are likely to take and what to budget for.

Yes. We work from your brand standards and global specifications and adapt them only where UK regulations, the building or local supply require it, agreeing every change with your team first.

Usually landlord approval and a licence for alterations, building regulations approval and sometimes planning permission, for example for kitchen extraction, a new shopfront or signage. Restaurants must also register with the local council as a food business, and may need a premises licence to sell alcohol. We prepare and manage the building-related approvals for you.

Yes. We coordinate with your nominated suppliers and check that imported furniture, equipment and materials meet UK requirements, such as fire ratings and electrical standards, before they are ordered.

You have a single point of contact in London and receive regular written progress reports with photos, programme updates and cost tracking, so your UK and overseas teams see the same information.

Yes. We have delivered projects for international brands in Amsterdam and Madrid and can support rollouts across Europe.
