Pop Mart, Westfield Stratford City
Project overview
We successfully delivered a full design and build retail fit-out for Pop Mart at Westfield Stratford City, one of London’s busiest and most prominent shopping destinations. The project involved creating a vibrant, brand-led retail environment that reflects Pop Mart’s distinctive and playful identity while supporting high customer engagement and efficient day-to-day operation.
Working within a high-footfall shopping centre, our team managed the project from early coordination through to completion, ensuring all design, construction, and fit out works met programme, quality, and landlord requirements.
Design and concept
The interior design was developed to express Pop Mart’s strong brand character through a bold and immersive retail experience. Bright colour palettes, integrated lighting, and bespoke display units were carefully combined to create a visually engaging environment that encourages exploration and interaction.
The design balances strong visual impact with clarity of layout, ensuring products remain the focal point while maintaining a clear and intuitive customer journey throughout the store.
Layout and retail functionality
The internal layout was planned to optimise visibility, circulation, and merchandising flexibility. Feature displays, perimeter shelving, and central product islands were strategically positioned to maximise customer engagement while maintaining accessibility and clear sightlines.
Joinery, lighting, and finishes were integrated to enhance product presentation and reinforce brand consistency, while materials were selected to withstand high footfall and intensive daily use.
Delivery and construction
Our team delivered the project within a live retail environment, carefully managing sequencing, quality control, and health and safety throughout the construction and fit out process. Close coordination with the client and centre management ensured smooth delivery within a demanding operational setting.
