Project overview
We delivered a comprehensive design and build restaurant fit-out for Haidilao Hotpot at Piccadilly Circus, London, located within one of the capital’s most prominent and high-footfall dining districts. The project focused on creating a premium dining environment that reflects Haidilao’s globally recognised brand while supporting high customer volumes and exceptional service standards.
Working within a busy central London location, our team managed the project from early coordination through to completion, ensuring all design, construction, and fit-out works met programme, quality, and operational requirements, as well as landlord and regulatory standards.
Design and concept
The interior design was developed to express Haidilao’s distinctive brand identity through a refined and contemporary interpretation of Chinese dining culture. A combination of warm timber finishes, curved architectural forms, integrated lighting, and bespoke feature elements was used to create a welcoming and high-quality dining environment.
The design balances visual elegance with functionality, creating a space that enhances customer comfort while supporting Haidilao’s service-led dining experience.
Layout and restaurant functionality
The internal layout was carefully planned to optimise customer flow, seating efficiency, and staff operation within a high-traffic location. Seating zones, circulation routes, and service areas were configured to support smooth movement and minimise congestion during peak trading periods.
Mechanical, electrical, and ventilation systems were fully integrated to support hotpot dining requirements, with careful consideration given to safety, performance, and long-term durability. Materials and finishes were selected to withstand intensive daily use while maintaining a consistent and premium brand appearance.
Delivery and construction
Our team delivered the project through close coordination of construction, interior fit-out, and specialist restaurant works within a live urban environment. Detailed attention was given to sequencing, quality control, and health and safety to ensure smooth delivery within a demanding central London setting.
