We successfully delivered the full design and build fit-out for Hachi BBQ, a contemporary Japanese barbecue restaurant located in the heart of Soho, London. The project focused on creating a distinctive dining environment that reflects modern Japanese BBQ culture while supporting efficient restaurant operations in a high-footfall city location.
Our team worked closely with the client to translate their concept into a functional, welcoming space that enhances the customer experience and reinforces the restaurant’s brand identity.
The interior design combines industrial textures with warm materials to create a balanced and atmospheric dining environment. Exposed brickwork, timber finishes, and dark metal detailing were paired with carefully considered lighting to deliver a contemporary yet intimate setting suited to Japanese barbecue dining.
The design approach prioritised durability, comfort, and visual impact, ensuring the space remains both practical for daily operations and engaging for customers.
The internal layout was planned to maximise seating capacity while maintaining clear circulation and a comfortable dining experience. Table arrangements, booth seating, and counter areas were configured to support BBQ equipment integration, ventilation requirements, and efficient service flow.
Lighting and acoustic considerations were incorporated throughout the space to enhance ambience and improve overall comfort, even during peak service periods.
Our scope included full interior fit-out works, bespoke joinery, architectural finishes, mechanical and electrical installations, and coordination of specialist restaurant systems. The project was delivered with careful programme management to meet operational timelines within Soho’s busy commercial environment.
This project demonstrates our experience in delivering high-quality restaurant design and build solutions for independent and branded hospitality operators across London.
