Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy

Introduction

London Construction Contractor Ltd is an interior fit-out contractor specialising in projects across various industries, including leisure.

We acknowledge our responsibilities under the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and are committed to ensuring transparency within our organisation and with our suppliers of goods and services.

Our Commitment

We are fully committed to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in our supply chains and all parts of our business. Our Anti-Slavery Policy reflects this commitment by:

    • Acting ethically and with integrity in all business relationships.
    • Implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure slavery and human trafficking are eradicated within our business and supply chains.

Due Diligence

As part of our due diligence processes, we review the practices of our suppliers to ensure compliance with anti-slavery and human trafficking laws. This supplier approval process includes:

    • Assessing the controls implemented by suppliers to prevent modern slavery.
    • Paying special attention to imported goods from sources outside the UK, which may carry higher risks of slavery or human trafficking.
    • Monitoring these sources to ensure appropriate levels of management control are applied.

We will not support or engage with any business knowingly involved in slavery or human trafficking.

Risk Assessment

To identify and mitigate risks of modern slavery and human trafficking, our directors and senior management team are tasked with:

    • Identifying inappropriate employment practices.
    • Assessing potential risk areas within our operations and supply chains.
    • Implementing measures to mitigate these risks.
    • Continuously monitoring areas of potential risk.

Measuring Effectiveness

To ensure compliance with the Modern Slavery Act, we regularly assess our suppliers and adopt a risk-based approach. This allows us to focus our efforts on areas of greatest risk, ensuring the effectiveness of our systems and processes.

Responsibilities and Training

Our directors and senior management are responsible for implementing this policy and achieving its objectives. They will:

    • Allocate the necessary resources and investments to prevent slavery and human trafficking within our business, supply chains, and partnerships.
    • Provide relevant information, instruction, training, and guidance to employees and stakeholders to support compliance.

Policy Review

This policy statement will be reviewed annually and updated as necessary to reflect any changes in legislation or our business practices.

London Construction Contractor Ltd remains dedicated to acting ethically and transparently in all areas of our operations to ensure that modern slavery and human trafficking have no place in our business or supply chains.
