Architect and Interior designer

Job Description:

LCC is a design and build company based in central London. We are currently looking for a Part II/III Architect and Interior designer, preferably with experience within a high quality commercial fit our projects to join our team to work on a number of prestigious new projects in London. We would expect familiarity and skill in the use of a range of creative software programmes.

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to assist with the running of projects from start to completion and construction stages.

Responsibilities:

Involvement with all phases of the design process, including programming, concept design, schematic design, design development, specification, and tendering processes
Preparing full architectural and construction detail drawings for the project
Preparing interior design package
Building 3D models in SketchUp and generating high quality V-ray 3D views
Preparing scope of works and full specification for the project, attend site visit and take record of work progress
Input to and prepare design presentations
Assist with the development of material palettes

Essential skills:

  • Passionate about design
  • Excellent AutoCAD skill
  • Excellent 3D-modelling skills – SketchUp and 3D rendering skills – V-Ray
  • Excellent Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign skills
  • Creatively conceptually strong with an enthusiasm for construction detail
  • Positive, outgoing, strong communicator with excellent client handling skills and sense of humour
  • Thrive in a fast-paced working environment, to tight deadlines with a great attitude
  • Fluent in English, verbal and written

Carpenter/General Builder

Job Description:

Exciting opportunity to work as part of the London Construction Contractor Ltd, a multi-disciplined team carrying out fit out, refurbishment and maintenance projects across London.

We are seeking two experienced and hard-working Carpenter/General Builder to join the team asap.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, flexibility is great as we also have night shifts and weekend work - pay reflective of this.

Responsibilities:

Attending sites carrying out general maintenance or planned works alongside our site teams
Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety Legislation and Company policy (Fire regulations, COSHH, Safe working practices, PPE Etc.)
Liaising with sub-contractors
Reporting to site Managers
Multi Trade duties
To find fault and ensure satisfactory fault rectification
Complete Carpentry installations and associated works (kitchens, doors etc)
Providing reactive maintenance to Commercial and Public buildings

Essential Skills:

Reliable
Good time keeping
Extremely precise and very high attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
DBS check will be completed
Willing to grow with the company
Flexibility during busy periods

The successful candidate will need to have a good understanding of most general fabric trades such as basic plumbing, painting, carpentry etc and be able to maintain excellent customer service levels.

Site Manager

Job Description:
 
We are currently looking for a Site Manager to join our construction team. You will be tasked with supervising and running construction projects, ensuring that client’s requirements are met, work is completed on time, within budget and according to our high-quality standards.
 
Essential skills:
 
Good organization and communication skills
Strong client relationship skills
Sound understanding of construction methods, materials and regulations
Health and Safety understanding and experience
Experience with checking and preparing site reports
Experience with reading, understanding and conveying architectural and technical drawings
Maintaining quality control procedures
Problem solving and decision-making skills
Time management skills and the ability to work towards deadlines
The ability to be self-motivated and to motivate others
The ability to work as part of a team
