We delivered the design and build fit out for Yakiniku, a premium Japanese restaurant located in the heart of Soho, London. The project focused on creating a refined hospitality environment that supports interactive dining while meeting the operational requirements of a high-performing restaurant.

The interior concept was developed to reflect the core values of the Yakiniku brand, combining functional planning with a clean, contemporary aesthetic influenced by traditional Japanese design principles. Material selection, spatial composition, and lighting were carefully considered to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere that enhances the customer experience.

The restaurant layout was planned to support table-side grilling, with advanced smokeless grill systems integrated into the design to ensure comfort, safety, and efficient ventilation. Seating was arranged to provide a balance between intimacy and flexibility, accommodating both small groups and larger parties while maintaining clear circulation for staff.

Lighting and finishes were used to define dining zones and create a calm, immersive environment, while maximising space efficiency within a compact Soho footprint. Every aspect of the fit out was designed to support smooth service flow, durability, and long-term operational performance.
