We delivered the full design and build fit out for the Haidilao Hot Pot restaurant located within Birmingham Bullring Shopping Centre, one of the city’s busiest retail and dining destinations. This project reflects our experience delivering complex hospitality environments within large commercial centres.
Haidilao is recognised globally as the world’s largest Chinese hot pot brand, renowned for its premium dining experience and service-led approach. The brief required a carefully planned restaurant environment capable of accommodating high customer volumes while maintaining comfort, efficiency, and brand consistency.
The scope of works covered complete space planning, interior design, structural coordination, and full MEP installations to support hot pot dining operations. Particular focus was placed on ventilation, extraction, and services integration to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient table-side cooking throughout the restaurant.
The interior design balances contemporary architectural detailing with refined Chinese influences, creating a welcoming and polished dining atmosphere. Curved forms, bespoke finishes, and integrated lighting were used to guide customer flow, define dining zones, and enhance the overall spatial experience.
As an experienced restaurant design and build contractor, we managed the project from concept development through to construction and final handover. Close coordination with centre requirements and operational teams ensured smooth delivery within a live retail environment.
This completed project demonstrates our capability in delivering high-quality Chinese restaurant fit outs, combining technical expertise, disciplined project management, and thoughtful design execution within a major UK shopping destination.
